Honey.

If you like honey, read up, because this is a delicious and relatively healthy recipe of an almond honey cake that is perfect for this season. What you need:

3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup honey
3/4 cup Greek yogurt
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
2 cups ground almonds
1/2 cup regular all-purpose flour
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups raspberries

Topping:

2 cups fresh strawberries or a berry mix
Whipping cream or Greek yogurt with honey


To prepare:

Start by preheating oven to 325°F. Grease a 9-inch round pan and line the bottom with parchment paper. 

In a bowl, whisk the eggs well. Add vanilla, yogurt, honey, butter and whisk. In another bowl combine and mix together the almond meal, flour, sugar, nutmeg, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add to the wet ingredients, mix, then pour into the prepared pan. Bake until a inserted toothpick comes out clean, 20 to 30 minutes. Cool completely. Finish with whip cream and your choice of berries
